French Polishing Spray Painting
French Polishing is a finish commonly found on antique furniture. It is often mistakenly referred to as a substance to be applied to wood, but in fact it is a method of applying shellac to a woodworking project that produces a tough surface with a very glossy, mirror-like finish.
French Polishing is a very popular finish for fine pieces of furniture, the application is an art in itself. It is applied in numerous layers by a rubber until the desired degree of depth is obtained.
The purpose of French Polishing is to seal the timber and prevent movement due to moisture absorption. It wears well, keeps the dirt out and provides a superior finish.
Our French Polishing provides an immaculate finish to your furniture whilst enhancing the features of the timber.
